Halfway thru this Cali trip… its been adventure.  First Big Ups to my homey Morgan Lee (and roomy Ehvan), my Cali KANEK, holdin’ me down is his lands. I invaded his college pad (off-campus housing) and totally bum-rushed the couch for last few days. I am thankful for my people.. NO DOUBT. Next up my man Boris, aka BLACK JESUS, keeping it funky at THE LOCAL TOURIST SPOT, 450 Main St. Downtown LA. That was destination #1 upon landing and the homey showed me around humbly. We met the wine-drinking, skateboarding school teacher, she was cool… and had a DOPE apartment. Got some hella dope flicks on her rooftop.

Later down the line, I’m connecting with my Jersey homey, Dylan The Villain, and his peeps Photographer P, Jammin’ Jay, and Josh Monsta. YO! These are the coolest cats right here… “P” is a champion photographer who gets the credits for the above photo, Jay is an awesome lead singer for a dope band (waiting on my CD) and Josh Monsta… well, he’s special, in a good way. Such a good time just riding in the car with these fools but actually our lil’ bike ride (DEEEBO! squeek squeek) on Venice Beach was quite the joy.

I even bumped into a NYC homey on the strip… Whuutup SKORN?! Da homey transplanted to Cali… can’t knock you homey, you look much less stressed out here! LOL ! Peace to the Polo Don! Also a graf head, seing him reminds me of the massive graffiti culture out here… GRAF IS ALIVE IN CALI… word up. So is the look-at-me-my-tshirt-is-$90-vibe but you can’t have it all… Art is alive in California and I can dig that.

Speaking of Art, tomorrow is Downtown LA’s ARTWALK… looking forward to that. I had to breakdown and book a hotel or my neck and spine is going to need major adjustment when I get home! Lets hope the “OLD” Marriott holds me down like my people here in Cali.
